He is the son of the legendary NBA sportscaster Marv Albert.

Two years later at the age of 16, he started writing content for the Rangers program. Albert attended Paul D. Schreiber High School. In high school, he reported sports stories for the Port Washington News. After high school, he joined New York University.
After graduating, he started working for WNYU radio in the sports department. The sportscaster is the radio voice of the New York Rangers.
